OPENING NIGHT FUN!
Thank you to all of you that stopped by The Lobby :), The Gallery and/or the Opening Reception! It was awesome connecting with you all in real time....it was definitely an awesome experience---and one that I hope you enjoyed :)! I know I woke up with a case of a #happinesshangover :).And, just in case you weren't able to make it and are wondering, "how on earth does an on-line Opening Art Reception work" :)... well, let me tell you all about it!First of all, we introduced ourselves...which is always lovely because I always learn new things about my friends when we do that. And then as we looked at certain pieces/collections together, we chatted. It was kinda like you would in person :), but we were texting instead of talking. It was so great meeting new friends and connecting with old friends near and far....it's so interesting when people from all different parts of your life come together :).Then as we looked at pieces from the exhibit together, we chatted about things like what our favorite yoga poses are, what city's inspire us and if our zodiac signs match our personalities.... which for me wasn't hard, because I'm an Aries to my core :). We also shared what our favorite places by the sea are, friends we miss having chai/coffee dates with and what we look forward to most when we come home from a long trip---the unanimous answer was SLEEPING IN YOUR OWN BED :)!I had so much fun chatting with everyone, that I actually decided to extend the conversation on the Opening Reception event page thru Sunday, Oct 2, so if you haven't had a chance to pop-in and say hello...you still can, I'd LOVE to hear from YOU!
