BIRTHDAY: signs.

I love birthdays...and I love making birthday signs. This year we hosted a holiday party/ birthday party for my mom. It was a lot of fun. Whether entertaining on a shoe-string budget or not, this sign is a fun, creative and easy way to add some festive cheer to any party.

All you need are brown paper lunch sacks, colorful paint, a string of lights (or just ribbon) and your imagination. Since our party was around the holidays, we decided to do red and white, with some hints of green.....we used white paint to decorate varying backgrounds on the bags and then used BRIGHT red paint for the actual message. And then we just hung the bags along the string of white lights.

Depending on the occasion, season, the person you are making it for....your options are pretty endless with this creative base to start from.
